Working together to help children living with chronic medical conditions

 

CLAN is committed to working with individuals, communities, specialists and other organisations in true partnership to help children who are living with chronic medical conditions around the world to enjoy the highest quality of life possible. We are committed to engaging with partners from as many sectors as possible (health, business, education, industry, philanthropy, government etc) to achieve our goals, because sustainable change will not be possible without this.

CLAN's 5 pillars are our framework for action, and provide an easy point of reference for all stakeholders:

1. Access to affordable medication
2. Education (of children, families, health professionals, policy makers and the international community)
3. Optimal medical treatment
4. Family Support Group networks
5. Alleviation of poverty by reducing financial burdens and helping families to find a pathway to financial independence
